Mark Chamberlain

Mark Chamberlain is known for both his business success and his commitment to community and social development. A graduate of the University of Waterloo in engineering, he began his career at Wescam shortly after receiving his Master’s degree. Three years later, he became company president and guided the firm’s growth and success in the development of visual information systems that garnered numerous awards, including an Academy Award for Technical Achievement. He currently leads Trivaris, a commercialization company focused on turning concepts into sustainable companies. He is also a recognized leader in his work to reduce poverty in Hamilton. Mark is past chair of the Hamilton Community Foundation, currently chairs the Hamilton Roundtable for Poverty Reduction and the Jobs Prosperity Collaborative, and is a member of the National Council of Welfare.
