Donaldson, Jeffery
Biography
Jeffery Donaldson was born in Toronto and completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Toronto. He currently teaches American literature at McMaster University in Hamilton, and is a member of the executive of the Hamilton Poetry Centre. He has published scholarly articles on modern and contemporary poetry and his own poems have been published in many prominent American and Canadian literary magazines including EXILE, PARTISAN REVIEW, WESTERN HUMANITIES REVIEW, THE NEW REPUBLIC, and THE YALE REVIEW. His first book of poetry published by McClelland and Steward was reviewed in several major Canadian journals by prominent Canadian critics, and is now out of print.
