A devoted team and a prominent presence in Hamilton for more than three decades, Margaret and Charles Juravinski have built businesses and community spirit in the city. After founding the Flamboro Downs Racetrack in the early 70’s, their spirit of innovation made it one of Canada’s premier racetracks and home to the Confederation Cup, a major milestone in North American racing. They have also given back to the community that supported their many endeavours, becoming among the city’s most generous benefactors through their multi-million dollar donations for healthcare and health research.
